WorkJam Recognised as 7-Eleven Australia’s 2026 Partner of the Year

Award highlights strength of frontline communications and workforce transformation partnership

AUSTRALIA – 12 May 2026
- WorkJam, the complete frontline operations platform, has been named “Partner of the Year” by one of Australia’s most recognisable convenience brands, 7-Eleven Australia, at the retailer’s 2026 Awards Dinner. The award recognises a partner who has consistently delivered exceptional services, operational support and contributed to strong business performance.

The award was presented during 7-Eleven Australia’s 2026 supplier and partner awards event, which brought together more than 500 suppliers, partners and company leaders to celebrate innovation, growth and collaboration. 7-Eleven Australia has over 760 stores nationwide.

WorkJam’s platform has played an important role in helping support frontline team communications, task management and workforce engagement initiatives across the 7-Eleven network, helping store teams stay informed, connected and aligned in fast-moving retail environments.

According to 7-Eleven Australia, the awards recognise suppliers and partners that have made an “outstanding impact” on the business over the past 12 months.

Stewart MacDonald, Director of Operations for APAC at WorkJam, said the recognition reflected the strength of the long-term partnership between the two organisations and the growing importance of frontline enablement technologies in Australian retail.

“Frontline workers are at the heart of every retail experience, and we’re incredibly proud to support one of Australia’s most innovative and customer-focused convenience brands,” said MacDonald.

“To be recognised as Partner of the Year by 7-Eleven Australia is a fantastic achievement for our local team and a reflection of the close collaboration between our organisations. Together, we’ve focused on making communication faster, operations smoother, and the employee experience stronger for 7-Eleven’s incredible team members across Australia.”

Andy Nicholas, VP of Sales for APAC at WorkJam, said retailers were increasingly recognising the importance of giving frontline employees access to the same quality of digital tools long available to head office staff.

“Retailers today operate in incredibly dynamic environments, where speed, consistency and engagement matter more than ever,” said Nicholas.

“Platforms that unify communications, scheduling, task management and operational workflows are becoming essential to modern retail operations. We’re proud to help organisations like 7-Eleven better connect and empower their frontline workforce.”

7-Eleven Australia CEO Fiona Hayes said partners and suppliers played a critical role in the company’s continued success and growth.

“The contribution that our partners and suppliers make is vital to our shared success,” Hayes said during the awards program.

This year’s awards also coincide with 50 years of 7-Eleven Australia, with the retailer continuing to expand its focus on convenience, food and beverage innovation, network growth and customer experience.

WorkJam’s recognition comes amid growing investment across frontline industries in technologies designed to improve productivity, employee retention and operational agility, particularly as retailers manage increasingly distributed workforces and rising customer expectations.
